Richard is exploring his own painting style influenced by Post-Impressionism, The Romantic Movement and particularly Edwardian English Artists.  His current en plein air technique uses Acrylic paint applied very quickly and intuitively in order to capture the light and essence of a subject in a loose but effective way.
